Summary of the Decade Celebration Event

So, what did we have?

We gathered at the Jerusalem International YMCA Center for a warm welcome with booths and delightful food.

It was heartwarming to see people from the past and present come together for a big embrace.

We continued with a festive ceremony hosted by Jean-Marc Lilling, during which the following speakers took the stage:

• Yael Agur Orgal, Founder and Member of the Board of Directors

• Sernei Dori, Community Mediator and Community Representative

• Josie Mendelson, Former CEO of the Organization

• Dr. Hadas Yaron, Volunteer and Activist

• Yulia Zemach, CEO of the Organization

We were honored by a moving video with greetings from friends and partners.

At the end of the ceremony, we surprised our amazing volunteers and presented them with certificates of appreciation for their many years of dedication to the community.

The Afro-Kan band concluded the evening, bringing the perfect blend to our event with their African-Israeli music that lifted our spirits and hearts, along with the sweet children dancing.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the organization's decade event with us.

It was a festive, emotional, family-oriented, and joyful evening—a bubble of love.

• Thanks to the organization’s team, the women of the community, and the amazing volunteers for the production, logistics, and delicious food—the injera and buna booth was prepared and operated by the women of the community.
