The Jerusalem African Community Center (JACC – registered non-profit) has been serving the refugee community in the city for over a decade. It was founded through a joint initiative of Israeli and African activists. Together they established projects based on the changing needs of the community.

Those projects are now the core activities of the organization, and are all still 100% volunteer-based.
